Thor: Ragnarok is arguably one of THE best Marvel movies that have ever been made and our man Taika was the one who directed it.

The head of Marvel Studios says Boy convinced him to hire Taika Waititi to direct Thor: Ragnarok. The president of Marvel Studios told Fast Company that Waititi's tragi-comic coming-of-age tale showed him that the Kiwi director would be able to bring an emotional resonance to Thor.

Anybody who's seen Boy will agree that it is absolutely hilarious but also deeply emotional.

The aim of this film was to continue the theme from previous films but do it in a different and exciting way and oh boy did they do that!! Hunt for the Wilderpeople is one of Taika's most well-known films. However, Marvel Studios had their eye on the New Zealander well before then.

According to Feige, president of Marvel Studios, said the secret to success was the studio challenging the stereotypes of what Superhero movies were and that's why they hired Waititi.

To be honest anything Taika touches turns to gold - these movies are amazing!!
