Missy Elliott takes to Twitter to explain how she wrote Destiny’s Child Song “Confessions”

Missy took to Twitter the other day and reminisced about the writing process for the Destiny's Child song “Confessions” which she made a guest appearance on.

“I was just listening to my earlier writing/producing style & I realized I used to paint a picture when writing for the R&B listener I wrote in story teller form This Destiny Child song was a good example” she wrote.

Destiny's Child at the time was made up of Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, LaTavia Roberson, and LeToya Luckett.

She also re-tweeted a number of fans tweets, who were tweeting about their connection to the song. 

“It’s a perfect example bc I swear I was cheating on a man I didn’t have,” one follower tweeted, while another added: “I miss when songs were like this you could actually picture the scenario.”
