USHER has just been announced to perform at the 2024 SUPER BOWL HALFTIME SHOW 🤩🏈

⚠️THIS IS NOT A DRILL⚠️ Usher has juts been announced as the performer for the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show and we couldn't be more excited!! 

This announcement comes with MAJOR NEWS of Usher's new LP 'Coming Home' which will be released on February 11th, the same day as his performance

It’s an honour of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list,” he said. “I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before. Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity happen. I’ll see you real soon.”

 Jay-Z, who is helping to produce the Halftime show as he is the NFL's live music entertainment strategist said “Usher is the ultimate artist and showman,” he said. “Ever since his debut at the age of 15, he’s been charting his own unique course. Beyond his flawless singing and exceptional choreography, Usher bares his soul. His remarkable journey has propelled him to one of the grandest stages in the world. I can’t wait to see the magic.”

This performance will come close to the 20th anniversary of his infamous album 'Confessions'. As a nod to this major anniversary, Usher got Kim Kardashian to help him recreate a scene from his iconic music video for "Confessions Pt. II"

The video showcases a phone call between Usher and Kim, but instead of Usher receiving the news that he got another woman pregnant, he finds out he's headlining the Super Bowl

This is not the first time that Usher had been on the Super Bowl stage, he was a guest in 2011 when the Black Eyed Peas were headlining

“I’ve had the opportunity to grace the stage in support of ‘OMG’ and Will.i.am but that was one moment.” 

We are LOVING all of the of Hip Hop and R&B artists that have been headlining the Superbowl lately. 

This year we had THE IT GIRL, Rihanna perform, where she also used the to announce her pregnancy of now newborn boy 'Riot Rose'. 

In 2022 we saw the likes of Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, Eminem, and Mary J. Blige. 

This show is going to be one for the books and February can't come around fast enough!!
