KJ Apa proved he's kiwi as by hiding this painful secret from the Riverdale cast

Don't say they don't breed em' tough here in little old New Zealand because we think KJ Apa might have a little something to say about that!

Kiwi international fave Kj Apa revealed on Twitter recently that he managed to break his hand while filming on the set of Riverdale. The thrilling ending to the Netflix hit, which saw Apa's character Archie punching the ice at the end of the episode.

Apparently, he committed to that scene so much that he ended up breaking his hand, which he didn't realise he had done until roughly 20 minutes after he had injured it.

“I wasn’t really punching the ice, but I got a little bit too excited. I was punching a foam mat … [that was] sitting on the ice. It was cold, so I didn’t really feel it. It wasn’t until 20 minutes after that I realized I broke my hand. I didn’t tell anyone.”
