Taika Waititi is at the forefront of a new campaign aiming to build a conversation around NZ's child poverty rates.
In this video title #DearNewZealand Taika reads out a story from a real kiwi kid living in poverty and it's pretty heartbreaking.
Other well known Kiwis from television, radio, music and even rugby have taken part in the campaign.
