Here's the male body part that women always stare at!

First off, get your mind out of the gutter because it's definitely not down there!

So believe it or not, ladies aren't looking at the massive arms nor is it the humungous pecks or well-defined quads or glutes (hello...). According to science, the go to for the eyes of the ladies is, in fact, the stomach, the chiselled abs! 

Researchers and doctors from Geneva University Hospital had male and female volunteers to look at 120 photographs of people in their swimwear and then rate the opposite sex under the basis of sexual desire (bruuuuuutal!).

Both sexes spent a wee bit of time looking at the body rather than the face, but for the ladies, through eye motion tracking technology, were taking their sweet time staring at the abdomens of men. In fact, women were looking at the abdomen more than the men were! They then speculated that the reason women observed the abs more was that stomachs with larger amounts belly fat may be associated more with lower testosterone levels, a major turn on apparently.

Aaaaaaand we knew there was a reason why we were doing sit ups!
