Meghan Markle's use of Te Reo Māori in her first speech in Aotearoa is AWESOME!

Meghan Markle has started her trip to New Zealand on the right foot with an awesome attempt at using Te Reo Māori in her first speech. 

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle arrived today on a 3-day whirlwind trip which will take them to Abel Tasman, Wellington, Rotorua, and Auckland before heading back to the UK. 

Meghan has been praised for her use of Te Reo, she starts her speech off by greeting the crowd with "tēnā koutou kātoa".

During the speech, Meghan also spoke about other topics important to her and Prince Harry. In particular, she made special mention of women in New Zealand who campaigned for their right to vote and how it was universally admired.
