After having her life support turned off late yesterday, former Silver Fern and Sky Sports commentator has passed away.

Dalton, 45, suffered an internal carotid artery aneurysm while playing touch rugby last Thursday and was rushed to hospital, bleeding from nose and mouth.

She passed away peacefully with her family beside her.

Dalton made her first Silver Ferns appearance in 1996, finishing her international career in 2007.
