Maker of PlayStation, Sony is giving away free PlayStation games in order to keep its users at home to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Journey as well as Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection are available now to redeem on the PlayStation Store for anyone with a PlayStation 4. The offer runs until May 5.

All users - not only those with a PlayStation Plus subscription - can download the free games.

To download them, users should go to the PlayStation Store on their console and select the “Add to Library” option.

They can then download them whenever it’s convenient.

In a statement, Sony Interactive Entertainment, who make PlayStation, said: "Play At Home has two components: first, providing free games to help keep the PlayStation community entertained at home; and finally, establishing a fund to help smaller independent game studios who may be experiencing financial difficulties continue building great experiences for all gamers."

Get amongst, gamers!
