Bret McKenzie and Jermaine Clement from the Flight of the Conchords have appeared on the high-rating US television talk show, the Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
The pair appeared to explain what they'd been up to since they took a hiatus from the group, and even performed a new song from their upcoming special 'Flight of the Conchords: Live at the London Apollo'.
Bret and Jermaine used their appearance on the show to ask Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern if they could come around for dinner.
The Prime Minister herself appeared on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert the day after the Flight of the Conchords boys and replied to the dinner request, saying she would have them around for dinner, but only if they picked her up from the airport.
The Flight of the Conchords are a Kiwi group who had a fictional TV series about them trying to achieve success as a band in New York City. The show had a massive following, particularly in the USA, so their will be a big deal overseas.
We love a Kiwi group making big waves in the big wide world!
