OH YEAH! Kiwis are flying high again (literally), winning trophies and in this case destroying records!

Aucklander Mike Heard has done the expected, because let's be honest when Kiwis put their minds to it we can do anything, by completing 430 Bungy Jumps off the Auckland Harbour Bridge within 24 hours.

The truly crazy thing that about the whole situation is that Heard had broken the record within the first 4 and a half hours!! So, in theory, he didn't break the record, no, he DESTROYED IT!!!!

Heard explains:

“It’s been a huge effort and I’m absolutely stoked that, with the support of the AJ Hackett Bungy New Zealand team, we’ve been able to achieve our goals of a world record, as well as raising funds and awareness for the Mental Health Foundation.”

“I’m not sure what I’m going to do next to top this but I’ll be heading home to the family tonight for some rest and relaxation,”.

Congratulations Mike! You can still make donations towards Mike Heard’s Mental Health Foundation fundraiser go to mentalhealth.org.nz/bungy or text BUNGY to 2446 to make an automatic $3 donation.
