The Rock washes every single dish by hand for this solid reason

Actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, is an absolute legend. The actor today is worth $185 million, but he came from humble beginnings. 

The man who was named 2016's Sexiest Man Alive learned the merits of hard work not in the gym or on a movie set but at his first job as a dishwasher at age 13.

He told Oprah he worked eight-hour shifts at a local pizzeria after school, earning $3.45 per hour. The experience left a lasting impression.

“It sounds crazy but to this day I never use a dishwasher. I wash every dish by hand,” he says.

“I have learned out of that such a great appreciation for work and putting in hard work.”
