Stan Walker reveals health issues after latest 'gaunt' Instagram post

Stan Walker has reportedly been struggling with health issues for a little while.

The star's manager told Newshub that he has had a "number of health scares".

"He has had some challenges healthwise but he will be back and working towards a new single release in March."

Despite these issues, apparently Stan is well enough to perform at One Love today in Tauranga.

He posted a snap with Jacinda from the event last night where he spoke to 100 young people for the Prime Minister's youth programme.

Fans have been asking Stan on Facebook for a while about his dramatic weight loss.

A person claiming to be a distant cousin explained the situation, saying: "His weight loss is due to heath reasons - not by choice, coming from a distant relative who also has the same health issue. Upsetting seeing lots of posts with negative comments from people when they don't even know the reason for the weight loss."
