Kiwi singer Ria Hall's exciting baby news!

Kiwi singer Ria Hall announced some exciting news last night, revealing that she is going to become a māmā for the very first time!

She made the announcement to her fans on her Instagram account last night, making the news public on International Women's Day.

And in celebration of International Women’s Day, during a huge transitional time in my life I am blessed to say that I am going to become a first time māmā🤰🏽xx After being told I’ll never conceive after ovarian complications and residing to the fact I’ll be an Aunty for the rest of my life (which was cool, too!) and then receiving news of my little taonga being gifted to us, it’s all pretty miraculous. My tāne Eru and I are blessed! So here’s to all the māmā, sisters, aunties, nannies, kōkā, whaea out there! This is truly a time for us to celebrate! Aroha Nui nā māua ko puku ❤️

Ria made the post alongside a photo of her and fellow singers Stan Walker, Maisey Rika and Troy Kingi who had just performed at a concert in Auckland.

While announcing that she was expecting, Ria also revealed that she had previously been told that she would never be able to have children due to ovarian complications and that she had gotten used to the fact that she'd be an Aunty for the rest of her life.

She said in the post that she and her tāne Eru were absolutely blessed with the exciting news.
