The award-winning Japanese restaurant is in the heart of the city's dining precinct and features food prepared in the traditional robata style of cooking over an open charcoal grill.
Ms Winfrey is in New Zealand for tonight's speaking engagement at the Vector Arena.
In An Evening With Oprah, she will bring her personal story and insights to life in what is described as a unique and intimate evening with the media mogul.
Yesterday's highlights included an official powhiri at Auckland's Orakei Marae, where Ngati Whatua formed a guard of honour for Winfrey as she moved from the marae to the whare kai.
She has also spent time outdoors since arriving in the city on Monday, including a bushwalk in Auckland's scenic Waitakere Ranges and a stroll up Mt Eden.
