Got questions about FLAVA? We’ve got answers!
From music, hosts, and competitions to how to listen anywhere in New Zealand (or beyond), this is your one-stop guide to everything Flava.
Flava FM kicked off in 2004, born out of Auckland’s Cool Blue 96.1, and flipped the switch into a nationwide home for old-school hip hop and R&B. From day one, it’s been about bringing the jams that hit different and keeping that classic urban vibe alive across Aotearoa, including a strong following in places like Rotorua.
Along the way, Flava locked in a long-running link with the New Zealand Warriors, backing the Wahs with hype, interviews, and game-day energy, helping bring the noise whenever they take the field.
