Yep, it's no secret, we love our pies in little old New Zealand, we could go on all day and CHEW the fat off your ears about pies but that wouldn't be savoury.
Oh and in case you're wondering why we're talking about an absolute Kiwi classic, the 21st Bakels Supreme pie awards went down last night and the country's best pie belongs to Taupo and their superb creation, the venison, bacon, mushroom and cheese pie from Fresh & Fast Bakery.
