Jay-Z has spoken out about the infamous elevator fight with Solange Knowles

He's withheld any real information about the whole situation but to be fair, we'll cut Jay-Z some slack because even opening up about the whole situation is quite a big deal!

Let's jump in our little time machine and go back to 2014 when Solange decided to test the strength of her leg kicks on Jay-Z when they got into an elevator. In case you needed a visual reminder of what went down check this out:

Good impression of a boxing bag from Jay-Z. Anyways, he's finally spoken about the whole incident and although we don't hear anything juicy or or revealing about what the whole thing was about, he does say:

"We've always had a great relationship," he said. "I fought my brothers and argued with my brothers my whole life. It just so happens, who we are, these things go into a different space, but it ain't nothing...We've had one disagreement ever, Before and after, we've been cool. She's like my sister. I will protect her. That's my sister. Not my sister-in-law. My sister."

Depending on how you interpret his songs, he's tried to apologize to her in his latest album, although, interesting way to do so. Anyways it just nice to know that all is well in the Bey-hive!
