Artists are starting to raise their concerns about how they are classified within the music artist, Drake being one of them, and he has the Grammy's in his sights!

In a radio interview with Apple music's OVO Sound, Drake expressed that the industry struggles to comprehend that he is a Black Canadian who is playing music across a number of genres in the American market.

Drake took aim at the Grammy's, who he feels constantly gets it wrong:

“I am referred to as a black artist, like [at the Grammys], I’m a black artist… I’m apparently a rapper, even though ‘Hotline Bling’ is not a rap song. The only category they can manage to fit me in is in a rap category, maybe because I’ve rapped in the past or because I’m black. I can’t figure out why.”

He also managed to weigh in on the Beyonce V Adele debate, that seems to be a polarising opinion within the industry, what does Beyonce have to do win the big one?
