The Numbers Are In For The Mayweather Pacquiao Fight & They Are Breaking All Records

The May 2nd showdown between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao has officially become the most successful boxing match in the history of the sport.

People thought it was going to be big, even the biggest fight ever. But this fight has dropped jaws at HBO.

PPV Buys: 4.4 million pay-per-view buys on record brought in over $400 million in revenue. (Almost double the previous record - Mayweather/Canelo $150 million)

Tickets: After a HUGE misunderstand/dispute over tickets - 16,219 tickets were purchased at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. This equates to $72,198,500.

Sponsorships: $13.2 million made in sponsorships ($5.6 million from Tecate.)

Closed-Circuit Win:  $19 million for rights to play at bars/restaurants; $6.9 millon showings MGM resorts

Misc: $40 million - plus

After all the accounts come in, Mayweather will earn $250 million, with Pacquiao about to make over $120 million after the 60/40 split.
