Suge Knight has been Charged with Murder

Late last week, news broke that Suge Knight was engaged in an argument on the set of the N.W.A. biopic, after which he hopped in his truck and sped away in reverse. The result? Hit struck and killed a man, and subsequently fled the scene. Since then, Suge has been arrested on murder charges–not to mention the $2 million bail–and according to this TMZ report, has revealed some of the details about his thought process from that day.

Sources connected with Suge tell TMZ … he claims he was in fear of his life when he gunned his truck, striking and killing Terry Carter.

After being shot six times last summer at a Chris Brown party in Los Angeles, Suge has had his share of run-ins with mortality, including a near-fatal blood-clot and a recent ambush from “2 to 4 guys,” according to the TMZ report. That being said he, was so afraid for his life, it was the sheer frantic nature of his getaway that disallowed him from realizing that he struck Mr. Carter, the deceased, according to said report.

UPDATE: Suge has now been charged with premeditated murder in the death of Terry Carter, and attempted murder for striking and injuring Cle Sloan, who was also on the scene. Additional charges include hit-and-run resulting in injury, and hit-and-run resulting in death. If convicted, Suge could be facing life in prison.
