The nominations for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s Class of 2015 includes one of the greatest Hip Hop acts of all time. The legendary West Coast group N.W.A is up for consideration along with Green Day, Nine Inch Nails, the Smiths, Lou Reed, Sting, Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Kraftwerk, Chic, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, the Marvelettes, the Spinners, Stevie Ray Vaughan, War, and Bill Withers.

They would be only the fifth Hip Hop act to be inducted. Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five, Run-D.M.C., Beastie Boys and Public Enemy were previously voted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum located in Cleveland, Ohio.
