An impromptu haka after Warriors captain, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck won the Dally M Medal was mistaken for a terrorist attack.
Tuivasa-Sheck was given the medal for being the best player in the game by Australian Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, when Warriors hooker, Isaac Luke stood up and led the Haka.
However, as it was unscripted, the Prime Minister’s security reacted to the haka for a split second as if it were a terror attack.
Apparently, the haka also made the floor manager of the event fall to the ground with fear as they thought it was an attack.
This didn’t ruin the special moment though, with Tuivasa-Sheck responding to the heart-felt haka by shedding a couple of tears.
