"Now this is a story all about how my life got flipped turned upside down..."
It's hard to believe, but it has been 30 years since the iconic 90s show, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air first hit our TV screens. To celebrate, Will Smith has got the whole fam back together to reminisce on the beloved show in a Reunion Special.
And Kiwi fans can watch the reunion special for free from today on TVNZ On Demand!
In the trailer, the Banks family - including Tatyana Ali, Karyn Parsons, Joseph Marcell, Daphne Maxwell Reid and Alfonso Ribeiro - as well as recurring co-star DJ Jazzy Jeff return to the Banks home to reminisce about old times, and memorable moments from the show.
The reunion will feature Janet Hubert (the original Aunt Vivian) chatting to Will Smith for the first time in 27 years. This comes as an emotional move after she originally announced that she wouldn't appear after leaving the show due to beef with Smith.
The cast also discussed the late James Avery who passed away six years ago from complications after open-heart surgery - "James Avery was this six-foot-four Shakespearean beast," Smith can be heard saying in the trailer. "And I wanted him to think I was good."
