Hold up while we rewind time for a sec!
We all remember the Proud family don't we? Penny Proud, the teenager going through all sorts of teen stuff, like school, boys, friends... Then Oscar Proud, the overprotective but hilarious dad... Oh, and Suga Mama the Granny that reminded us all of our own.
Well, fast forward 20 years exactly, and we've been given our first look at the Proud Family: Louder and Prouder which will be coming to Disney+ next year.
The reboot is said to pick up from where the OG show left, with most of the actors coming back to reprise their roles.
Kyla Pratt will continue as Penny, Tommy Davidson and Paula Jai Parker return as her parents, Oscar and Trudy; JoMarie Payton also returns as Suga Mama, while Cedric the Entertainer plays Uncle Bobby.
But, it really is the string of celebs that is most impressive with Elite Daily reporting that we could see the likes of Lizzo, Lil Nas X, Chance The Rapper, Tiffany Haddish and more all join the lineup.
There has been no date set for the official release of the show, but we can definitely expect it in 2022. And you already know Flava gonna keep you in the loop!
If you missed it, the Sol3 Mio boys on Flava Breakfast are always up to their antics. Listen to them dropping truth bombs on songs that are popular but really shouldn't be!
