Tragic news after Kiwi actor Anzac Wallace passes away

Tributes are flowing in after news emerges that Kiwi actor Anzac Wallace has passed away.
The actor appeared in films including Utu, where he starred as Te Wheke in the Māori Western. He also starred in The Quiet Earth.
More recently Anzac (Zac) played a part in long running Kiwi soap, Shortland Street.
Kiwi TV show Marae paid tribute to Zac by sharing an interview after the actor's return to Aotearoa after 30 years away.
Tributes have also come from fans, who shared their sadness on social media.
Anzac Wallace was more than a face on Utu. He was the voice for those who had none. Moe mai ra e te rangatira, moe mai, moe mai.

The Utu actor died after a battle with cancer this morning.
