A quick glance at his Instagram and there are some HORRIBLE comments, people saying things such as "I will f*ckin kill you" and "you have to die, even if you were acting motherf*cker, poor tyler", and that's just what's being posted publicly!

Tim took to Instagram trying to spread the love, in his latest post writing: My character in @13reasonswhy might incite some strong emotions - that’s more than fair. But let’s not use this post to state the hate, but instead spread the love. Tag a friend/acquaintance/mentor/sibling, along with something you like or admire about that person. This is not a ploy to gain followers, but an opportunity to spread good vibes! I’ll start us off, @rossbutler you’ve got a great EYE for photography.

Tim's fellow actors have also seen the need to speak out and address the hate that he's receiving.

TV is different to real life people!! Unless of course, we're talking about Heartbreak Island of course!
