Jerome Kaino takes on Joseph Parker and the outcome is pretty GRIM

What did you have for lunch today? We can guarantee it wasn’t the same as the boys Jerome Kaino and Joseph Parker!

Last week All Black Jerome Kaino and professional boxer Joseph Parker were involved with some online banter about eating insects after watching TVNZ’s new reality show Survivor.

Kaino started the cheeky chat with, “You been hitting the tarantulas pre-fight Joseph Parker?”

The pair joked back and forth about munching on tarantulas, centipedes, crickets and scorpions, before Jerome came in way too hot and declared: “Game on brother.”

It looks like curiosity got the better of them and they actually went through with the insect-eating challenge for lunch today.

Parker posted an Instagram video with the caption: “Lunch”.

Another post by TVNZ2 shows Joseph beating Jerome by eating the insects the fastest.

We hope it’s the first of many challenges between these two tough guys.
