Chaos at Nipsey Hussle memorial after several people injured

A vigil for rapper Nipsey Hussle has broken into chaos after hundreds were sent into panic with reports of a loud bang ringing out across the crowd.
Emergency services have reported that multiple people have injured in the incident at the candlelight vigil which was set to be a peaceful memorial for the rapper. The LA Police Department said in a Tweet that it looked that reports of shots being fired at the vigil appeared to be false.

Reports of shots fired at the vigil do not appear to be accurate. We do have injured in the chaos and are attempting to restore order.

We are asking for everyone to follow the officers directions and disperse from the immediate area.
At least 65 firefighters are reported to be on the scene and footage from news agencies shows dozens of police cars blocking city roads.

Nipsey Hussle passed away yesterday after being shot outside his clothing store in Los Angeles. The LA Times has reported that the gunman and Hussle were known to each other.
A video has also gone viral online showing the late rapper Mac Miller with Nipsey together in the studio.
