#BeyGOOD has evolved into vast amounts of programs striving to positively contribute to communities, education, and individuals.
Beyoncé donated $100,000 in scholarships to four Historically Black Colleges/Universities (HBCU) Texas Southern University, Fisk University, Grambling University and Morehouse College. The launch of the initiative was announced at Beyoncé's first-weekend Coachella performance, which had a strong black American homecoming theme – featuring step dancers and a marching band. The

The initiative took an innovate form through a capsule collection 'BalmainxBeyoncé' and was recognised by Google. They stepped up to the challenge donating an additional $100,000 to the chosen colleges in hopes of bridging the gap between Silicon Valley and HBCUs.
