During the Whale Trail campaign here in Auckland Stace, Mike & Anika were gifted a blank Snail that aligned with the story The Whale and the Snail which inspired the WWF (World Wildlife Federation) to do the Whale Tales.

We got it painted to celebrate New Zealand Music Month by covering it in 4 iconic New Zealand album covers picked by our listeners. The Shell has been detailed in some of Aotearoa's most iconic Kiwiana albums; Patea Maori Club, Che Fu and Ardijah.

A massive shoutout to our amazing artist, South Auckland, and pacific artist Monty Collins, who initially designed our Flava stickers waaaaay back in the day. We're blessed that we have the ONLY snail AND the last sculpture to be auctioned.

The description of the auction reads, "As the old saying goes, it takes a village to raise magic and that can be truly said about the Flava Snail. From blank canvas to this expression of Aotearoa New Zealand, this nod to NZ Music Month is truly a one of kind piece of art that has been shaped and formed from many minds."

Funds raised will go towards the work WWF-New Zealand does to look after our moana (ocean) and her marine life throughout Aotearoa, particularly in and around the Hauraki Gulf.

One last mission is for it to be named, what that will be? Have your say on our socials!
