Hadz sports his new blue hair

Queensland's State of Origin hopes went up in flames this series and so did Hadz's dignity.

After the Maroons dropped the series to New South Wales, Hadz was left holding up his end of a bet made long before the first whistle blew: dye his hair the colour of the rival state. True to his word, Hadz got a transformation walking around sporting NSW colours on his head as a permanent reminder of how this series went.

It's the kind of bet that sounds harmless in the pub weeks out from Origin until your team actually loses and you're stuck explaining the hair to everyone who asks.
