GENERAL FIYAH – IT’S YOU

Sony Music New Zealand is excited to announce the release of newly signed artist, GENERAL FIYAH's brand new single ‘IT’S YOU,’

He might be only 13-years-old, but General Fiyah is already making waves in the New Zealand music scene.

In 2016, General Fiyah (Lotima Nicholas Pome'e) was introduced to the public as a member of highly successful reggae band Three Houses Down, which his father and uncle are both a part of.

An Aotearoa reggae legend in his own right, the South Auckland star sings, dances, and writes his own music and draws huge crowds at headlining shows. While collecting millions of streams on popular songs such as Love & Affection and Here to Stay, General also balances school, writing music and touring.

At the 2018 Vodafone Pacific Music Awards he was the youngest winner with awards for the APRA Best Pacific Song Award, Vodafone People’s Choice Award, and NZ On Air Best Pacific Music Award for Here to Stay. The song also received international industry recognition at the 2018 Island Music Awards in Hawai’I for Music Video of the Year. Thus far in 2019 he has been presented with the NZ On Air Radio Airplay Award.
