Tequila shots are the forbidden fruit of a night out, everyone knows that you shouldn't go near them, and they'll ruin the next day completely, for some reason you'll always find yourself stumbling to the bar in the wee hours and buying a round.

Even though these researchers have found benefits in drinking the stuff, this doesn't mean that the hangovers will disappear - they'll always be there.

Researchers have found that substances in the blue Agave tequilano plant, which is one of the primary ingredients in tequila, improves the body's absorption of calcium and magnesium.

It basically means that you can grow stronger bones.

But don't get too excited just yet, drinking the stuff isn't the same as eating the fructans from the plant directly - so a bottle of José Cuervo will leave you will more of a hangover than a strong femur.

But ahh well, it's still somewhat healthy!
