Say goodbye to single use plastic bags - IN THE NEXT SIX MONTHS!

We could likely be saying goodbye to all single-use plastic bags in the next six months. 

It comes after the Government announced a ban on all plastic bags under 70 microns, which includes thicker shopping bags as well as those you get at supermarket checkouts.

The ban will also include compostable plastic bags. 

The Government revealed that after the public made submissions around banning plastic bags, 92% of people were keen to get rid of plastic bags.
