A Kapa haka group from this year's Te Matatini Festival has gone viral on the internet with their cover of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody.

The Hātea Kapa Haka roopu, who are based in Whangarei performed the song as part of their set at Matatini this year.

Videos on social media of the performance have had hundreds of thousands of views since being posted over the weekend.

Fans are loving the video and are trying to reach out to the remaining members of Queen to try and promote the video further.
