Celebrity Treasure Island: Girl power hits the competition with a singer, actress and presenter in the mix

The competition heats up with three talented females joining Celebrity Treasure Island. Singer Ladi6, actress Jodie Rimmer and presenter Shannon Ryan will head to Fiji to take on the treasure hunt to end all treasure hunts!

All three will have the opportunity to win challenges and raise funds for their charities. Ladi6 will compete for a charity dear to her heart and formed by her father, Safe Man Safe Family. Shannon is competing for Blind Foundation Guide Dogs and Jodie for Talk Peach, in aid of gynecological cancer research.

The trio, announced on Stuff this morning join Matty McLean, Lily McManus, Zac Guildford, Sam Wallace, Karl Burnett, Moses Mackay, Shane Cameron, Roseanna Arkle and our very own Athena Angelou on the contestant roster.

Celebrity Treasure Island will be hosted by Matt Chisholm and Bree Tomasel and will premiere on TVNZ 2 this winter.
