It's a popular dance move that involves shaking ya booty, but we never knew that you could loose some solid weight by twerking! 

Iggy Azalea has claimed to have lost six kilos in one week, which was all thanks to twerking in her latest music video.

Iggy told news.com.au that practising and continuous performing of the dance move helped shred the weight.  "I did a lot of rehearsals actually, and man I lost 15 pounds in a week dancing to that song!" 

Speaking about the video shoot for track, Mo Bounce, Iggy said: "I went on a meal plan before the video because I knew I would have to be dancing fairly skimpily dressed."

When it comes to the skill behind twerking, the rapper said that "it just has to come naturally", but then confessed to having had a little help.

"I did take classes. I do have someone who is very, very good at twerking and she helped me. I never realised how flexible you have to be to do that stuff," she said.

When quizzed on her top twerking tips, Azalea said: "My teacher was like 'I really suggest you take yoga' and I didn't know you had to take yoga to be a twerker but apparently you do."
