WATCH: Hugh Jackman wows with his audition tape for Wolverine

If you are anything like the other Wolverine fans, your love for Hugh Jackman probably began when you first saw him as Logan when the first movie came out! Yet now, as Hugh Jackman exits the role with Logan, we are given a glimpse what won him the role that he will always be remembered for.

The 11-minute clip, uploaded in 2009 - the same year X-Men Origins: Wolverine was released - is titled simply: "Hugh Jackman auditions for the part of Wolverine in X-men."

And it provides a fascinating glimpse into the young actor's process and early camera presence.

Jackman was a virtual unknown, newly in his 30s, when he was flown to Toronto to read for the role that would radically alter his career trajectory. He has now scaled new heights in his role as Wolverine.
