The Kiwi star who's bigger than Lorde!

Lorde has lost her No. 1 spot - but not on the music charts.

The Kiwi singer-songwriter has been overtaken as New Zealand's biggest Instagram star by Riverdale actor KJ Apa.

KJ, who plays Archie Andrews in the CW television series, has hit 6.1 million followers, while Lorde currently has 6 million.

Riverdale's second season is currently airing in the US on The CW and on Netflix in New Zealand.

The show's second season is rating higher than the first, with its October 2017 premiere drawing 2.3 million viewers in the US, according to Deadline.

Lorde has just begun her North American tour, with her next show in Vancouver, Canada on Thursday.
