The Game has been a pretty model citizen lately, especially with his efforts toward ending violence in urban communities by creating the "Yo Mama, My Mama" campaign. Which involved him going out and buying $1,000 worth of groceries for a local family that he selected through Instagram.

Yvette Hicks a mother of eight who raised her children on her own after her divorce, had her daughter submit a video explaining why her mother deserved some help.

When TMZ caught up with The Game to hear about this campaign he said: “I figure with all this tragedy, and all the brothers killing each other, cops killing brothers, brothers killing cops, the one thing that people care about the most around the world is their mothers,” he says. “So if we can pay it forward and make my mama your mama and you look at somebody, you’re like, yo, man, you helped somebody’s mom across the street. Or you ask her how her day is going or you just do anything for someone else’s mother as if it was your own, the guy whose mother that is might not be inclined to do something to you based on your mother.”
