Steven Adams agrees to take fan to prom but you wont believe why they can't go anymore!

Steven Adams taking you to prom would be a dream come true! For one fan her dreams had become a reality... except there was one problem, the prom was three years ago.

On January 27, 2015, a Twitter fan, sent a message to Adams asking that if her post received 1000 retweets "will you go to my law school's prom with me?!"

Three years and three weeks later the Oklahoma Thunder centre replied saying "absolutely".

Wow, talk about being late to the party! She's probably heading to her graduation by now. The internet has been roasting the New Zealander after he replied to the tweet yesterday. Even his own team have joined in!

At least she got a tweet back!
