Kiwi favourite to star in Hollywood romantic comedy

He's a New Zealand favorite and not too bad on the eye either! KJ Apa who is one of the star roles in the series Riverdale has signed on to star in The Last Summer, this is a romantic comedy being directed by William Bindley.

This Riverdale cross Shortland Street star is the only one mentioned to be in the film when it was released. However the production company Gulfstream pictures has made it clear that they have cast not to be missed!

Our boi is going to be your mean character in the film which starts filming on April 23.

"KJ is one of today's most talented and sought-after young stars both here and abroad, and we excited to announce he will lead our ensembled cast," the film's producer Mike Karz said.
