Khalid uses te reo Māori for the first time on Twitter and we LOVE IT!

He's the kid with the American dream that's living it up in New Zealand at the moment! Khalid, the newest sensation with the smoothest voice in the game melted hearts, soothed ears and collected tears at his show in Auckland last night.

He's not been here for very long but we like to think that the New Zealand way is already starting to brush off on him. Khalid sent this tweet out to wrap up his tour:

It appears that a group performed a Powhiri and a haka for Khalid possibly before or after his performance, but by the looks of things, it was a two-way street as he sung happy birthday for a lucky girl last night as well!

Can't wait for him to be back!
