It's instinctive, you hear the words "independent women" and BOOM your hands go up in the air! Why? Because your 90s and early 2000s were dominated by the most bootylicious girl group to grace the world, Destiny's Child.

Sadly, behind-the-scenes, it wasn't all jumpin' jumpin'. In a recent interview, Michelle Williams has revealed that she was suicidal during the heights of Destiny's Child fame!

She explains:

"I'm in one of the top-selling female groups of all time, suffering with depression,"

"When I disclosed it to our manager at the time, bless his heart, he was like, 'You all just signed a multi-million dollar deal. You're about to go on tour. What do you have to be depressed about?"

She continues to explain that "I think at the age of 25, had I had a name to what I was feeling at the time, I would have disclosed that I've been suffering from depression,"

ILY Michelle!
