You will not believe what Shaun Johnson is wearing at pre season training!

We expected a little more fashion from our token pretty boy Shaun, but each to their own I guess! A series of photos have been uploaded of Shaun Johnson and his new found fashionable sunnys!

These glasses remind us of another NZ friend we have! Both very questionable styles but ya know....

In all serious though, Shaun is actually wearing them for protection after he had to undergo eye surgery not so long ago.

The Warriors star had an operation to remove a benign growth on the surface of his right eye.

Called a Pterygium, it's a growth on the white of the eye.

It's common among sportspeople that spend a lot of time in the sun, particularly cricketers, surfers and tennis players.
