The Street Store is are the world's first rent-free, premise-free, free "pop up clothing store for the homeless" found on the street and rely on donations from generous people.

Well tomorrow they are setting up shop in Otara where people can try on and take home some new clothes for free! Homeless people will be able to browse through all the donated clothes and choose what they want.

The first street store in the country will be running in partnership with donations from the public, Kiwi Harvest and Crosspower NZ.

Charene Siakimotu from Crosspower said "They saw a way to help by making this store on the street, hanging up clothes and shoes along a fenceline, and the homeless could come and shop and just have some real dignity in their shopping experience."

The Street Store will be open on Friday at Crosspower New Zealand on Lovegrove Crescent, Otara from 10 am to 1 pm.
