Although it's not quite Halloween yet, you could almost see the kids gearing for an afternoon full of dress ups, candy and tired parents! Although if one parent had it her way, it would be Halloween that would almost get rid of the dress up bit!

A mother has gone a tirade, forcing parents to think twice before they let their children dress up as Disney's Moana for Halloween. Parent blogger activist Sachi Feris explains that it is "cultural appropriation" to dress kids up as characters with a different background to their own.

Whilst most would argue that being the independent, mature and strong-minded Moana would be the perfect role model for their daughter, Feris believes that it may parody Polynesian cultures.
