Not getting your nuggets can be a stressful time, but not many people would resort to shooting employees with a kids toy gun over it.

Jacob Geels ended up getting fined for disorderly behaviour in the Greymouth court yesterday.

Apparent Jacob was angry after he did not receive his nuggets, so he jumped up on the counter, yelled abuse at the workers and shot them with the gun.

Designed for children aged 4-6 years old, Geels' lawyer argued that it was stupid, but not harmful and quite funny.

"When he was spoken to by police later on he said he thought it was funny and didn't think anyone would care," police prosecutor Lisa Thomson told the court.

Judge Robert Murfitt told Geels he may have thought it was funny, but he agreed it may have been scary to others in store at the time.

"It is important for you to think more carefully about the way you behave, particularly with what is happening in the world at the moment. There have been some outrageous events of random violence and harm."

Although not receiving your nuggets might suck, it's still no excuse to pull up on the workers.
